When Alyssa was just 5 months old, she was diagnosed with a genetic disease called Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). The doctors told her family that she might not make it past the age of 2.

Today, Alyssa is a 22-year-old college graduate from Bryant University. She is dedicated to raising awareness about SMA and inspiring others to overcome life's obstacles.
