It's a big weekend for lacrosse fans with the NCAA D1 Men's Lacrosse Championship taking place in Philadelphia, PA.

In the spirit of lacrosse season, Sticks for Soldiers is a charity lacrosse tournament that helps raise money for wounded veterans. Their goal is to provide support and give thanks to the men and women who make major sacrifices to serve our country. The tournament has raised more than $160,000 in just six years with help from students, players and the community. The 2012 honorees were US Army Captain Greg Galeazzi, of Glastonbury, CT and USMC Sgt. (Retired) Greg Caron of Ellington, CT.
