As a special treat to all their readers, our friends at Celeb Secrets Country are premiering the lyric video to Leslie Cours Mather and songwriter Steve Dorff’s new duet “Another Christmas Loving You.”
“I’ve had the good fortune to work with the talented and accomplished producer, Denny Diante. Denny and Steve Dorff have been good friends for many years, they actually lived in the same neighborhood and their kids grew up together. So knowing Steve’s amazing track record, I was excited to get introduced through Denny, and have the opportunity to access his really inspired songwriting. We recorded a couple of Steve's non-holiday songs (“Fall Softer” and “One More Long Goodbye”) which turned out great," Mather tells Celeb Secrets Country.
"Along the way in that process, we discovered Steve’s song “Another Christmas Loving You” and Denny had the idea to have Steve sing it with me as a duet. We met in the studio on a hot day this past summer….we cranked up the air conditioning, and I brought out some Christmas cookies and hung some twinkling lights to help create the atmosphere, and it must have worked, because I think we captured some holiday magic that day, as if it were December!”
