This Chicken Soup For The Soul Moment is honoring our country on this memorable day. We remember and thank all 9/11 heroes! The undefeated Wounded Warrior Amputee Football Team, made up of veterans injured while serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, took on 9/11 first responders from New Jersey and New York in a charity flag football game. The night was an amazing tribute to those who put their lives on the lines for their country.

Former Giants stars, Jim Burt, and Phil McConkey, were in attendance as well as Steelers Super Bowl hero Rocky Bleier, former Eagles receiver, Vince Papale of Invincible fame, and former Jets defensive tackle, Joe Klecko. The game took place at Essex county Codey Arena in West Orange, NJ.
