For Wayne Brady, the professional respect has always been there for Bill Maher. The personal side? Not so much.
Maher first drew Brady's ire in May 2013 over a joke comparing President Obama to Brady, as Obama and Brady weren't "Suge Knight" black. Brady fired back at Maher's generalization of African Americans and vowed to "beat [Maher's] ass in public."
Maher, meanwhile, made headlines recently for some more blanket statements, this time about Islam. In a HuffPost Live interview Monday, Brady couldn't help but chuckle at Maher's latest antics.
"You know what? All I'm going to say is: The proof is in the pudding," Brady told host Ricky Camilleri. "Bill happens to think a certain way. ... He's an elderly gentleman."
Brady went on to clown Maher, joking about his age and how you "can't teach an old dog new tricks."
"I think I just laugh and shake my head," Brady said. "He's your uncle at the barbecue. Or your grandpa that shows up with no pants on or something."
