We Know Posters. We Have The Best Posters.

On Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017, an estimated 100,000 people united in Oakland, CA to protest the inauguration of the United States’ 45th president, Donald Trump. The Women’s March in Oakland was one of the largest turnouts amongst the protests that occurred in each of the 50 states across America, the largest taking place in Washington, D.C. The collective participation in the Women’s March is now believed to be known as the single most participated demonstration in U.S. history, rivaling protests which occurred against the Vietnam War in 1969, the Iraq War in 2003, and nuclear power in 1982. An estimated 3.2 million protesters participated stateside while countries around the world, including Antartica, Germany, Chile, Ghana, France, Thailand and Kosovo (to name a few) contributed to the global opposition.

The impressive attendance in Oakland was matched with equally impressive protest signs that marchers carried to display resistance to the sexism, racism, ableism, and xenophobia believed to be promoted by Trump.
