Hidden in Navajo land in Page, Arizona is a unique underground world that we could only see when we ventured below the surface. To get inside we had to climb down metal ladders and squeeze through tight spaces. Once down there we were blown away by the rock formations that we saw. The slot canyons here are formed by flash floods, which slowly over time erode the rock into smooth almost unreal shapes. When the sun is precisely in the right spot above the canyon it casts a light beam inside which makes it look even more magical.
