Bjork's much-anticipated follow-up to 2007's Volta has the truly one-of-a-kind artist putting her one-of-a-kind skills to use. Bjork's album, Biophilia, also exists as interactive eye candy, in iPad app form. The app lets you use your fingers to glide around Bjork's universe, expanding it and unveiling music as you go. "You change the speed of the arpeggio, or the range," Bjork told NPR. "Basically, you're like this crazy lightning bass player." Dream come true!

Karen O's "psychedelic ride laced with catharsis" arrives Wednesday at St. Ann's Warehouse. The Yeah Yeah Yeahs frontwoman has been decidedly vague about her psycho opera, "Stop the Virgens," but we do know that in addition to the psychedelic ride, there will be a "cathartic spell" cast through nine songs. We're assuming no one who enters will exit the same person.

"The Mountaintop" plays out a fictional representation of Martin Luther King Jr.'s night before his assassination, spent at a room in the Lorraine Motel. Samuel L. Jackson stars as MLK with Angela Bassett at his side. The play by Katori Hall opens Thursday on Broadway at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre.

Hollywood's remake factory churns out another one this Friday with "Footloose." What's changed? Danny Quaid steps into the stern preacher role, there are some exploding buses and more hip hop. What hasn't? The kids just wanna dance.
