I drew the above cartoon last week, after the deaths in St.Paul, Baton Rouge and Dallas, arising from racial tension in our country. And today, we have more deaths of police in Baton Rouge; it’s unclear what the motives were for the shooting, but they were probably racial.

The cartoon above was based on one I drew in 2011 for The New Yorker, following the terror and uncertainty of 9/11. That drawing is below.

We are living in a time of fear and violence, and our children want to know when it will stop. So do I.
