Have you thought about this lately? Or maybe you are finding yourself disconnected from that which gives you that extra pep in your step? Motivation, drive, passion and energy can sometimes work in funny ways and not always be as alive as we would wish.
Reflection is the key. You never want to live in the past but it is important to touch upon the key factors that make you tick. I know for me it is my two beautiful children whose spirits are so bright I can’t help but be driven by the gift of their existence in my life. And it’s always been my mother who has worked hard with such grace and strength through any obstacle life has placed in her path and always had this unconditional way of believing in me. These three souls in my life define what unconditional love is and it truly drives me to want to create, design and work hard to build a life to be able to serve, guide and experience life at the highest of levels with them all.
While of course there is so much more for me, I keep those three people; My mother, my son and my daughter at the forefront of everything I do. Of every vision that has come to mind, every piece of art that pours through me and the inspiration to always develop my passion for writing.
The gratitude I have for these three is infinite and absolutely gives me my drive.
So, what is it for you? There’s no definitive answer for anyone as it would be as unique as we all are. Is it a person, an experience, a vision, a need for something to serve others that is yet to exist? It’s important to always take a pause, and acknowledge what is propelling us forward. Honor it, love it, cherish it.
Reconnect with your drive and always let it be catapulting you into designing the life you want; with the people you cherish and a purpose your proud of.
