Part 4 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion shocked viewers everywhere. The show picked up where it left off last week. Porsha Williams had just announced that she wouldn't be answering any other questions about the accusations against Kandi Burruss. Instead, she would allow her friend Phaedra Parks to answer the questions, since she'd gotten this very damaging information from Phaedra.
Porsha said that Phaedra told her that Kandi, herself, had said that she wanted to drug her and have her way with her -- a complete lie. Kandi never said those things. She is completely against drug use, and she's certainly against kidnapping.
Kandi was taken completely off-guard when she learned that Phaedra, who had been a close friend in the past, would spread such reputation-damaging gossip about her. This was beyond shade. It was far below the belt.
Phaedra kept saying that she "heard" the lie and simply repeated it, but her reaction crushed Porsha since she'd asked Phaedra just two days before the taping it Kandi had actually said that she wanted to do those things, and Phaedra indicated that Kandi, had, apparently. It was later revealed that Phaedra had also told Porsha that Kandi’s husband Todd hooked up with women in New York, using the alias “Marvin”. That was also not true.
So, Porsha now felt that she was being used to hurt Kandi. That was a blow, because Porsha genuinely thought that Phaedra was her friend. They were the "Frick and Frack" duo, right? Porsha cried both in the main filming area and the backstage area at the Georgia Terrace Hotel where the reunion was filmed. Porsha had to walk off stage, because she was so upset, disappointed, emotional.
Shamea Morton,, one of Porsha's friends (a friend who doesn't like Phaedra) tried to talk to Porsha, and urge her to stop allowing people to use her. Porsha didn't want to hear that and wanted Shamea to just be a friendly ear. Porsha relied on her sister to console her.
The rest of the RHOA cast and the reunion show’s host, Andy Cohen were also surprised when the truth came out. Sheree cried, Kandi had to leave the stage, escorted by her husband Todd. During the break that cast took after all of the commotion, Kenya Moore said that both Porsha and Phaedra were both at fault. Cynthia Bailey said that nothing like that had happened on the show before, and Andy told Kandi that he was shocked by the events on the show.
Phaedra, actually said very little, but apologized for repeating what she’d heard. Still, Porsha didn’t immediately forgive Phaedra at the time, because she felt that she had been betrayed, and she thought that lies that she’d repeated came from a reliable source, Kandi, herself.
