I’m not a techie, so everything good that comes my way does so because I run risks of making an ass of myself and progressing by trial and error. If something I do works, I run with it. If it doesn’t work I don’t cry over spilt milk. I drop it like a red hot brick at the wayside and walk on.

Autism and Asperger’s Syndrome Awareness and Suicide Avoidance And Prevention

When I retired at age 65 on 21 March 2010, I decided I’d like to become a consultant in the professional specialism I’d created for my 50 year long full time working career. I’d been a member of the County Surveyors Society since birth, became an Esquire of the Royal Division at 15½, and won a Town and Country Planning design competition set by the UK Chancellor of the Exchequer to get the Royal Mint moved from London in England to Llantrisant in Wales.

I did it by designing a world wide highways and transportation development plan of strategic significance that only I could nurse because only I could understand it and implement it, which would take a working career to complete, and ended it the year before I retired by my flagship town, namely, Aberystwyth, in Mid West Wales, being designated the prime service and transport hub of the UNESCO ‘Man and Biosphere’ Reserve of my nation, Biosffer Dyfi.

The reason I picked Aberystwyth, rather than Llantrisant, as my service and transport hub for the project was that it contained a Royal Mint in the Medieval era of conquest and colonisation of the Americas and East Indies, particularly by Britain, that started during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I and continued to the early 20th century.

I was greatly minded of this historical connection as I have a famous ancestor among the emigrants, namely, Admiral Sir Henry Morgan, a Welsh privateer and landowner, and, later, Lieutenant Governor of Jamaica. From his base in Port Royal and St Mary’s, Jamaica, he raided settlements and shipping on the Spanish Main, becoming wealthy as he did so; and with the prize money from the raids he purchased three large sugar plantations on the island.

My life and work were official secrets until 12 May 2014, so I had to wait to publish my memoirs, but I took a chance and started a blog at adriantesq on WordPress.com: Create a website or blog on 28 November 2013.

I did it on the advice of the presenter of Bestseller in a Weekend for Non Fiction Writers to build myself a reputation but no one took much notice, so I waited for 12 May 2014 to come around and created a not-for-profit business organisation I named County Surveyors Society International Limited and published my story as an autographical trilogy and compendium. The secrecy created interest and it went viral overnight in the UK and global in a week capturing amazon bestseller slots #1, #2, #4 and #5 in my genre (Memoirs) and niche (Childhood Autism and Asperger’s Syndrome).

This prompted Arianna Huffington, then Editor in Chief of The Huffington Post to invite me to ‘have a voice’ on that prestigious international publication which I did and created an archive of blogs displaying the conversation that began with the public at large, in which I discovered nobody was interested in my town and country planning prowess, but in my savantism / pedagogy about mental health and suicide.

This necessitated research and development to update my savantism / pedagogy so I recorded my process in a journal and in audio video recordings that I stored on You Tube. I could bore for Britain if it was an Olympic Sport, so here’s just a snippet of my most successful audio video recording -

The consequence of saving my audio video recordings on You Tube was so remarkable it took my breath away. 99.9% of the people who tried Step 1 went no further as it met their every need. And, above all. It did what I wanted it to do: save lives. Thousands according to one testimonial. She introduced me to the director of a brand spanking new US based university specialising in sustainable development. He recruited me as its Ambassador for Students with Autism / Asperger’s Syndrome. So I rushed off a little booklet explaining all this so I could give it to the Prince of Wales to read in his car between engagements to see what I was up to, as his Prince’s Trust is one of my mentors.

Here are the Global Compact 17 Goals to Transform our World 2015–2013. Woo Hoo! I get pumped with excitement when I look at this Agenda. The County Surveyors Society of which I was a member from birth and ultimately its Chief Instructor of its ancient and justified savantism and pedagogy of survival by suicide avoidance and prevention by and for people with Autism / Asperger’s Syndrome was wound up on 31 March 1997 and this University has all that it takes to act as its successor, but internationally, rather than only for the UK & Commonwealth of Nations.
