In the United States alone, heart disease kills one woman almost every minute. Roughly 430,000 women lose their lives to heart disease each year across the globe, according to the American Heart Association. In an effort to raise awareness for heart health, celebrities walked the runway during New York Fashion Week for The Heart Truth's Red Dress Collection. The show kicked off New York Fashion Week with a bang with models Ann Curry, Allison Sweeney, Cat Deeley, Eve, Natasha Bedingfield, and more.

My favorite looks of the night were...

Suzanne Somers -- whose mother and grandmother died of strokes -- is not a stranger to the cause at hand, which is one of the reasons the 64-year-old wanted to walk at this Fashion Week's red dress show. She had a ton of fun in an Ina Soltani creation.

Camila Alves looked ravishing in a slinky one-shouldered dress. Cute guy alert: baby daddy Matthew McConaughey was practically leaning onto the catwalk from the front row trying to snap a good photo.

Giuliana Rancic won the award for biggest and brightest energy. She danced her way down the runway in Notte by Marchesa with the biggest smile ever.

Of course, Patti LaBelle, walked the runway to one of her own songs. She was wearing a feisty Zang Toi number -- it stopped the show!
