People Who Identify As LGBT Allies Share Photos For #WhatAlliesLooksLike

LOOK: This Is What An LGBT Ally Looks Like

The queer community has come along way in the last 50 years -- and especially in the last 10 -- but we couldn't have done it on our own.

To celebrate our non-queer friends and family members who have supported us over the years and often joined us in the trenches as we fought for equal rights and freedom from discrimination and violence, we asked our readers to tweet photos of themselves or others who identify as allies using the hashtag #WhatAlliesLookLike and the response was tremendous.

Check out the beautiful folks who participated in our call out and if you are an ally and want to share a photo, tweet it using #WhatAlliesLookLike.
