What’s the ONE THING you need to be able to consistently sign coaching clients?
That’s the question I was asking myself 18 months ago, as I struggled to build a business out of my coaching hobby (let’s be honest).
I felt like I’d already tried everything.
Offline I was public speaking, networking endlessly, and hosting workshops and meetups. But finding the people I wanted to work with was nearly impossible.
Online I was blogging (and guest blogging for prestigious publications), posting across every social media platform going, recording and posting videos (livestream wasn’t what it is today), networking in Facebook and LinkedIn groups, creating lead magnets and complicated sales funnels, and paying for Facebook ads.
But I was still signing just a handful of low end clients each month.
So, when I asked myself what the ONE THING was, that I needed, I realised that there really was just ONE THING that was preventing everything else from being effective.
And that was that my message wasn’t compelling enough.
Whether I was on the stage, writing a sales funnel, or anything in between, people just didn’t get that I was talking to them.
I was talking to someone else.
I was talking to anyone else.
I was talking to everyone AND no one at the same time.
Instead of talking to my perfect client about her ONE THING.
That realisation, together with a shit-ton of testing and tweaking, is what led to me obliterating my old corporate salary and 10Xing my coaching revenue in 2016.
While working less than 30 hours a week, and without spending a penny on advertising.
So tell me, what’s the ONE THING that would have that kind of impact in your coaching biz?
