In this video, Eckhart Tolle talks about how the "conditioned self" has an impulse to remain in its comfort zone. However, the impulse behind the consciousness now arising on the planet has a powerful momentum and challenges the conditioned self when the awakening process begins. As consciousness emerges, the familiar is no longer comfortable, and we have the opportunity to embrace the unfamiliar. When we dare to leap into the chasm of the unknown, an unmistakable freedom arises. The evolution of human unconscious necessitates that we challenge our comfort zones, and step out of the shadows into the light. Tolle says, "Nothing that is of real value can be lost, only the false dissolves."
