I like to read at Yaddo, the artists colony in upstate New York.

My most favorite spot is in a old wooden Adirondack chair that's under some tall Northern Pines -- there is nothing better than the sound of the wind blowing through the trees. It is a magical place, filled with the sounds of nature, and the ethereal buzz of creativity.

The last book I read there was the galley of Joan Wickersham's News From Spain which has just been published.
