White House Joins Snapchat, Seals Fate As Hippest Administration Ever

The White House just joined Snapchat, but don't expect any rainbow vomit selfies from Obama anytime soon.

The administration plans to kick off its first official Snapchat story with a behind-the-scenes look at State of the Union prep, "with footage and angles you won’t find anywhere else," it said in a blog post.

Obama is already known as the nation's most social media-savvy president. In 2015, he graced the web with his personal Twitter and Facebook accounts. But 2016 is a new year, and Snapchat is all the rage. It's only fitting that it would be the next app for POTUS in the Great American Social Media Takeover.
