By now, you've probably heard about Rupert Murdoch's engagement to Jerry Hall.
Which, for some, prompts the question: Who is Jerry Hall, again?
The 59-year-old is a former supermodel -- one of the biggest in the world -- and actress, perhaps most well known for her more than two decade-long relationship with Mick Jagger. The relationship with the world-famous rocker spanned the late 1970s to 1999.
The duo never married, but their union produced four children: Elizabeth Scarlett, 31; James Leroy Augustin Jagger, 30; Georgia May Ayeesha Jagger, 24; and Gabriel Luke Beauregard Jagger, 18.
Georgia followed in her mother's footsteps to work as a fashion model. The face of Rimmel cosmetics with a signature gap-toothed smile, she has also modeled for Hudson Jeans, Chanel, H&M, Miu Miu, Versace and Vivienne Westwood.
As for Hall's modeling career, it began in the '70s when she moved to Paris and began living with fellow model Grace Jones. Appearing on 40 magazine covers before her 21st birthday, Roxy Music's album "Siren" also featured Hall in 1975, and the model began dating lead singer Bryan Ferry.
Among her most famous covers, a 1985 issue of Vanity Fair heralded Hall as "an American success story."
After leaving Bryan Ferry for Mick Jagger in the late '70s, the 6-foot model became a fixture at Studio 54 and the 21 Club, which led her many friendships with Hollywood's elite class.
Hall performed in a smattering of movies and television shows, often playing herself. She played Alicia Hunt in 1989's "Batman." Expanding her creative influence, she also produced a book in 2010, Jerry Hall: My Life in Pictures.
More recently, in 2014, Hall was involved in British Airways' launch of direct flights from London to her native Texas. The saucy advertisements included shots like this one:
Among Hall's philanthropic pursuits, she acts as an advocate for Vivienne Westwood's Climate Revolution helps to further the organizations dedication to creating "petitions, actions and rallies to save our future."
The blond beauty has been tied to many men in her lifetime, including Andy Warhol, who referred to Hall as one of his many muses. After her breakup with Jagger, Hall tended to gravitate toward younger men, including London banker Tim Attias and scientist/author Armand Leroi. Her last relationship before her current engagement was with real estate tycoon Warwick Hemsley.
Hall has been seeing her current squeeze, 84-year-old business magnate and owner of News Corp. Rupert Murdoch, since the summer of 2015. The marriage would be a first for Hall, reports NPR.
No word has been released on when the nuptials will take place.
