A truly heartbreaking story on "Who the (Bleep) Did I Marry?" as viewers were introduced to Shaina Gibson. Shaina had known Joseph Allsop since she was four-years old. The two were childhood sweethearts who found their way back to one another and wound up married. It was like something out of a fairy tale, or at least that's what Shaina thought.
She had a son from a previous relationship, and a daughter with Joe who tragically died at only five months old. The baby died while in Joe's care, but what Shaina learned later was even more horrifying.
"Mr. Allsop confessed to touching his daughter … his daughter started to choke," an investigator explained. "She subsequently had her airway closed, and she basically died."
Joe confessed to molesting their daughter, as well as Shaina's son and even other children. At his sentencing, Shaina said his eyes were black and that he was heartless. Joe Allsop was sentenced to two life sentences in February 2012, but that can't undo the damage he's caused to Shaina, her son and their deceased daughter.
