Could the racial rants of an increasingly unhinged President Trump cause a racial war?
Trump just re-tweeted a 60,000 member British neo-fascist organization’s false and defamatory video that included ISIS propaganda. The result is he will be dis-invited from a future visit to the UK, even though the White House says he requested that it be put on hold. Does Trump want to start a racial war, or is this the only way he can keep his base voters?
His open approval of the Charlottesville neo-nazi torchlight parade was the most obvious example of his own blatant racism. Unconfirmed reports say White House officials are observing even more disturbing behavior of the President, including Trump’s assertaion that the voice in the NBC Access Hollywood tape wasn’t his voice, and that he believes the Mueller investigation into Russian collusion and obstruction of justice will finish in December.
The possibility of a racial war has increased since congress is ready to pass even more open gun laws. Mark Kelly, Gabby Gifford’s husband, just highlighted the latest House Judiciary committee’s action in passing a “Concealed Carry Reciprocity” gun bill that would allow persons to carry a concealed weapon in all U.S. states and territories—even states like California that banned open-carry weapons in 2012.
“This is a very dangerous bill that would essentially allow almost anyone to carry a loaded, concealed firearm almost anywhere in the country,” said Kelly.
Talk about an armed revolution, maybe? Since states with the most open-carry gun owners are in the southern ‘red’ states, what’s to stop them from starting another civil war?
What Trump has forgotten is that if he shot someone on Fifth Avenue, it’s in New York City that voted for Hillary. There will be no one to rescue him there.
