‘Wild Boar Curling’ Rescues Stranded Wild Boars From Frozen Lake

Get this pig in a blanket!

A group of wild boars that had become stranded on ice in Sweden was curled to safety thanks to several intrepid skaters who filmed the adorable rescue.

In a video titled “Wild Boar Curling,” one of four boars is seen struggling to walk on the slippery surface – its little legs helplessly kicking beneath it – when the skaters come to the rescue.

Using their poles, which are ordinarily used for trekking across the ice, they turned the beast into a giant curling stone.

He’s then seen being gingerly pushed across the ice and back onto dry land.

According to Mental Floss, citing the Swedish nature site Natursidan, the skaters were part of a guided tour on Lake Baven, southwest of Stockholm, when they came across the animals.
