The first day of our DC Digital Storytelling Adventure happened to fall on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. As we paid our respects at King’s memorial, a bustling scene suddenly turned quiet as Vice President-elect Mike Pence arrived. From the hushed whispers rang out a question from one of our chaperones, “How will the administration support Martin Luther King’s ideals?” Our student reporter, Lauren Kim, filed this report.
