Via Curbed LA: This three bedroom, one bathroom home was designed in 1936 by architect William Kesling, who is renowned for designing homes in the art deco style known as "Streamline Moderne." The home, which is referred to as the Adams House, is featured in the book Kesling Modern Structures by Patrick Pascal and David Gebhard. The authors note that of all the California homes Kesling designed, this is the "only Streamline home in which the original, Kesling-drawn floor plan survives."

The 1,397 square foot architectural house features a woodburning fireplace, a renovated kitchen with updated appliances, and an open floor plan that lets in plenty of light. Outside, this private Silver Lake home is surrounded by terraced gardens that have been featured in Los Angeles Times Sunday Magazine. The price tag for this little piece of architectural history is $885,000.
