Wingsuit Jumper Dean Potter Jumps Off Mountain, Glides For Minutes (VIDEO)

National Geographic Adventure has posted video of rock climber Dean Potter, a 2009 Adventurer of the Year honoree. Potter specializes in wingsuit jumps, which allow him to glide through the air for minutes at a time. In August Potter traveled to the Eiger, a mountain in the Bernese Alps that reaches an elevation of 13,025 feet, and leapt off for a nearly three-minute flight that spanned almost four miles, setting a world record for longest base jump. The below footage includes a collection of some of Potter's most daring acts.
