With Technology, Boston Becoming One Of The Best Places To Retire

Growing old in Boston? You may want to consider staying in your home for the long-term.

According to a recent study by Seattle-based real estate company Redfin, living at home in Boston is cheaper and as convenient as living in assisted living or a nursing home.

To derive the stat, the company looked at which cities were served by apps that provide services similar to what is offered at an assisted living facility, such as transportation app Uber, grocery delivery company Instacart, house cleanup company Porch, dog walking service Rover and personal care assistant company CareLinx.
