Since the Republican takeover of the Senate, the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade treaty has been re-energized as a possible area of cooperation between the GOP and President Obama, who is seeking Fast Track Authority to push the deal through Congress without amendment. Activists gathered outside the U.S. Trade Representative's Office on Monday, Dec. 8 to protest TPP generally and Fast Track specifically.
