Woman Asleep On Railroad Tracks Cheats Death

A young woman who fell asleep on railroad tracks in Auburn walked away unscathed after a train passed over, police say.Several people called police Wednesday morning to report a woman was hit by an oncoming train at a railroad crossing between Ross and Gay Street. When officers arrived, they found 22-year-old Lynsey Horne of Salem still asleep on the tracks even after a train passed over her.
