Competitive eater Nela Zisser consumed 20 McDonald's cheeseburgers in one brief session, again proving that she may be the queen of fast food gluttony.
But this stunt wasn't easy. After virtually inhaling 10 burgers in 3 minutes 59 seconds, Zisser wrote on YouTube that as "they got colder it became a lot more difficult."
She finally downed 20 in 16 minutes, 11 seconds, "which isn't bad but I think I could have done better," she said.
Zisser, the former beauty pageant winner from New Zealand who made her Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest debut in July, defeated Erik "The Electric" Lamkin (here in a separate video) in the one-on-one burger challenge by more than two minutes. Zisser has recorded several notable pigouts of fast food lately, including the downing of five Subway Footlongs in 9:17 and 10 McDonald's Filet-O-Fish in 5:30.
Hey, as long as she's digging on the Golden Arches, perhaps she's ready for Epic Meal Time's 84 Cheeseburger Cheeseburger, a monstrosity introduced recently that includes a 12-pound bun made with 84 McDonald's cheeseburgers baked into it.
