A 23-year-old woman who got naked and poured ketchup on herself at a Johnny Rockets in Miami Beach has been ordered to undergo a mental evaluation Friday, after being charged with lewd and lascivious behavior, indecent exposure and disorderly conduct, Local 10 Miami reports.
Angelic Valle's arrest comes after a video of the Oct. 9 incident was posted to World Star Hip Hop, according to NBC Miami. The video quickly went viral.
In court, Valle's father spoke about his daughter's behavior.
"She suffers from mental illness," he said before the judge.
"I'm not just the only family who's going through this," he told Local 10 via phone call. "There's many families that are going through this."
According to a police report cited by Local 10, Valle walked topless down the stairs of the Ocean Drive restaurant before she began turning over tables and chairs.
The video shows Valle dancing while another person pours water on her.
After taking off her bikini bottoms, she laid down naked on a table and poured ketchup on her body.
Police are searching for a man involved in the incident who allegedly touched Valle's vagina while she was on the table.
"The city of Miami Beach has allocated a lot of resources to improve the lifestyle on Ocean Drive and this is something that will not be taken lightly," Miami Beach police spokesman Ernesto Rodriguez told Local 10.
