BIO ON 1ST PLACE WINNER MARIO CARINI:
Mario Carini was born in Germany and has been a Canadian citizen since immigrating with his parents to Canada in 1952.
He has worked in the security field for most of his life.
Currently he is retired and hopes to devote more time to his 2 passions: writing and art.
As a member of Fine Art America (now Pixels.com), his images have received accolades on FAA for 5 years. He works primarily in the digital medium; his artwork created via computer and uploaded to FAA, Pinterest, Deviant Art, Artavita, Ello and Society 6.
His artwork has appeared in International Contemporary Artists, Volume 6. He also has published Fractals: A World of Color and Form which is available for purchase on Amazon.com. He has written a number of articles that have been published by Constant Content, Helium and Triond.
He does not limit himself to just pushing buttons to create his artwork as he has an extensive knowledge of software programs he uses to create unique works of art. Among these programs are (in no particular order):
* Filter Forge
* Dynamic Auto Painter
^ Foto Sketcher
* Ultra Fractal
* Apophysis
* Repligator
* Pop Art Studio
* XenoDream
* Incendia
* Other minor programs
Mario enjoys the creative process. His art is not limited to just one medium as he experiments with fractals, photo manipulation, abstracts and graphic interpretation.
His goal is to showcase his art, but not necessarily become famous or rich from his art. As long as his art is appreciated and makes people happy he will continue making fine art.
