Today marks the beginning of a new weekly series here on Huffington Post New York that takes a closer look at the best, worst, and most expensive real estate out there in our fair city.

First off is this legendary neo-Italian Renaissance mansion on the Upper East Side. It's five floors feature a marble staircase, skylight, vaulted ceilings, and of course a huge open kitchen. The limestone facade townhouse was commissioned in 1922 and costs a whopping $75 million dollars.
