Andrea Arnold's 'Wuthering Heights' Gets A Teaser Trailer

True love's never more romantic than when it goes wrong. Andrea Arnold's "Wuthering Heights" understands that.

Arnold's well-received adaptation of the Emily Bronte classic of the same name features, for the first time in the story's history, a black Heathcliff.

In this brooding trailer, nature is the focus, with each shot filled with wind or rain or shadow. Less a set of scenes than a progression of nearly still images, the trailer reveals Heathcliff and Catherine, both as children and as adults, languishing amidst the stark expanse of the moors.

At the end of the trailer are the first, and only words:

"You broke my heart," Catherine whispers. "You killed me."
