We hold a lot of stress and tension in our hips, an area of the body that is often ignored during a workout warm-up or a stretching session.
Runners, desk-sitters and long-commuters all typically have tight hips. To remedy, follow along with LA-based yoga instructor Vytas Baskauskas, who demonstrates some really simple hip stretches in the video above.
If this is your first time working this area, know that things might feel a little -- or a lot -- tight. Don't let this discourage you; the more you practice, the more flexibility you'll gain.
