One thing I have learned on my journeys around the world is the raw power of embracing our own authenticity. The raw power of showing up in our lives as close to the person who we really are as possible, shedding layers of bullshit as we go along. Shedding the old conditioning of our past. And in the process freeing ourselves.
Enough of playing small to please people around us. Parents. Lovers. Friends.
Enough of denying ourselves joy. Enough.
Enough of living someone else's life.
Enough of not being enough.
Enough
Each and every one of us has suffered our way through life in some form or another. Whether it's due to family issues, job issues, life issues, or just plain old... issues.
We all struggle and we all have this layer of love resistant crust formed around our heart which keeps us from being the true essence of who we really are.
Some of us will never find our way through that layer. Some of us will. And when, or if we emerge from that sludge of pain, we will look back and think how beautiful it is to be free.
Finally.
To simply.
BE.
You deserve to be the greatest you.
Unique. Magnificent. Brilliant. Flawed. Love. Loved.
It all flows through you, and to stamp it out for the sake of other peoples often misguided desires and beliefs is to do the greatest disservice of your time on this spinning planet of ours.
Don't let that happen.
Go out there and shine brightly. Go out there and blind people with your light. You are the miracle you have been waiting for.
