If pictures are worth a thousand words, then this photo of Britney Spears and her rumored new man Sam Asghari has to tell us something, right?
The singer was spotted out and about at dinner with Asghari, her co-star from her “Slumber Party” video, over the weekend. The hunky trainer shared a since-deleted photo of the two on Instagram that showed them wearing matching black T-shirts while Spears stuck her tongue out.
The goofy picture is a far cry from the steamy moments the two share in “Slumber Party.” In one particular scene, Spears crawls across a table toward a seated Asghari, licking the spilled milk in front of him.
The 34-year-old “Make Me” singer was last linked to Charlie Ebersol in 2015, with whom she split after about eight months of dating. Like most of us, Spears revealed she has some anxiety about putting herself out there, telling Marie Claire earlier this month she once lost six pounds before a date.
“I had a really bad date. I mean, it was really bad. I’ve been single for ages and had a date with a guy I liked,” Spears said. “I was getting anxious, worrying he wouldn’t like me. In the evening, I got on the scales and I had lost six pounds. We went to the movies, but I could tell right away it wasn’t working. It was sort of awkward. So after the movie I came home and that was it.”
The singer added, “He just wasn’t that into me. I liked him. He knew that. But he definitely didn’t feel the same. It happens to everybody. Being famous doesn’t make you any different.”
