Getting our emotions in check can be extremely difficult, especially if we don't know where to begin. We carry our un dealt with emotions like we do a first aid kit, in case we need a defense mechanism. We bandage the hurt, the remorse, the shame, try to clean it up with alcohol swabs and it hurts worse at the beginning, then we can take a little medicine to try and feel better like we do Tylenol when we have a headache and take Advil for muscle cramps when the going gets tough and try to hide what is really going on in our medicine bag of bottled up emotions with "quick fixes." Often times we really never get to the root cause of our problems and learn to eliminate them in a healthy way and properly deal with them so they don't haunt us and ruin our bright futures. Let me teach you how to set healthy boundaries and face the emotions that hinder your growth in all areas of life.

One of the best ways to deal with past hurts is to completely eliminate that person or people who hurt us. I recommend removing any items that have a negative emotion attached to them. Have a loving and understanding friend on speed dial to be able to safely and freely express your true feelings and one that will have a listening ear. I also recommend to keep a journal with you in your purse and especially one at home for you to journal frequently about what is going on currently, how you are feeling with emotions on a daily basis so you don't repress them, and what you plan to do to feel better, an action plan I like to call it. Learn to take baths and read books and listen to soothing music for relaxation. Don't hide and mask what you are feeling at any given moment, take a deep breath and know it's okay to feel your feelings. I also recommend not getting into any new relationships until you have closure from past hurts and regressions. Rely on yourself you learn ways to love being alone. Your go to guide could be trying new things that keep your mind off of what didn't work to what is currently working. It is also a positive reinforcement to learn to make a gratitude list every day. When we have an attitude of gratitude, it changes our attitude. It really doesn't take much for us to clear away the wreckage of our past and turn the mistakes into learning lessons while healing ourselves.

I encourage you to shift your mindset into a place of feeling love and accepting help along with manifesting your realities to reflect positivity! Always be authentically yourself and step into your power and take massive action for powerful results. Be well. Choose greatness and live a life of vibrancy!
