Project Bandaloop Uses Skyscrapers As Their Dancefloor

Project Bandaloop's Dancers Feet Never Touch The Ground

We've seen a lot of videos lately of flash-mob dancers taking over airports. Project Bandaloop dancers actually take over the sky in their vertical dance performances,

In an exclusive interview with the founder and director of Project Bandaloop, Amelia Rudolph, we learned of their amazing performance technique.

We've been making dances using climbing technology and contemporary movement for 20 years on skyscrapers, cliffs, towers, bridges, and in theaters all over the world.

We'll rig a building or we'll go to a cliff and rig the top of the cliff and we will stand sideways so that the cliff or the building itself becomes our dance floor.

Watch clips from their performances in the video above.
