Country singer Zac Brown was allegedly a part of a police bust involving cocaine, weed and possibly strippers, according to police reports obtained by The Huffington Post.

Reports indicate that the incident occurred early last Friday morning at the Four Seasons Hotel in Palm Beach, Florida. Police were alerted about a suspicious car and ended up arresting and charging an individual for possession of cocaine and intent to sell after finding 35 small zip-lock baggies of cocaine. Two other individuals were charged for cocaine possession while one person was charged with possession of marijuana.

Sources told TMZ that Brown was reportedly out that evening with a friend before he was invited to the hotel room. According to a statement on Zac Brown Band's Facebook page, the singer said he apparently did not know there would be drugs and strippers there.

"My dad always said nothing good ever happens when you stay out late. It’s a lesson I learned the hard way last week, being in the wrong place at the wrong time," Brown said. "I attended a private gathering at a Miami-area hotel and had only been there for a short time when police officers arrived and arrested two people in the room who had just showed up a few minutes before."

The country singer continued, "I did not know these people and had no idea that there were drugs in their possession. I cooperated fully with the authorities and am not part of any ongoing police investigation. Everyone is responsible for their actions, and I regret using poor judgment and putting myself in that position."

HuffPost obtained a police report with Brown's name in it, despite the Palm Beach Police Department reportedly denying the singer's involvement to TMZ. The media outlet is alleging that "starstruck" cops let the singer go.

According to the site's sources, one of the police officers allegedly asked for Brown's autograph, while another officer chided a woman involved in the situation for not knowing who Brown was.

In an emailed statement to The Huffington Post, Philip Salm of the Palm Beach Police Department said "The subjects of the criminal investigation have been charged and identified in those reports. We have no further comment as this criminal investigation is closed."

Brown is set to perform in Charleston, South Carolina this weekend and has made no comment on the matter.

The Huffington Post has reached out to representatives for Zac Brown and will update this post accordingly if a statement is received.
