Zack Greinke won his first game with the Los Angeles Angels on Tuesday night and helped himself out with an incredible web gem in the fifth inning.

With the Angels already up 8-2 with Jack Hannahan on first base, Ezequiel Carrera lined a 2-2 pitch right back at Greinke. But it wasn't just the ball that nailed in Greinke's direction. A piece of Carrera's broken bat almost hit the 2009 AL Cy Young winner as well.

Greinke successfully avoided the bat shard while leaping to make the catch across his body. Then he quickly fired the ball to first base and doubled up Hannahan to end the inning.
