Zebra Courage

The greatest thing about a safari (besides the action, wildlife, adrenaline and mystique), is that no two are alike; you're guaranteed to have a unique experience each and every time (it's unanimously what safari guides agree keeps them excited about their jobs). This video from a one-day safari in Serengeti National Park, Tanzania presents the yin and yang of courage inside the minds of zebras.

A full grown zebra is a majestic, carefully-colored creature, evolved for blending into a crowd. You're likely to encounter them in most of the major African Safari destinations, and they enjoy presenting themselves in large groups, making them even more stunning to view.

Group mentality isn't about putting on a pretty spectacle though, it's about staying safe in the midst of cunning predators. But if you're inclined to think zebras are just a bunch of 'nervous Nancys,' well, you're half right.
