Zendaya Lip-Syncing Erykah Badu's 'Tyrone' Deserves Everyone's Attention

Another day, another opportunity for Zendaya to slay.

The 19-year-old actress appeared on Sunday’s episode of “Lip Sync Battle,” hosted by LL Cool J and Chrissy Teigen. Competing against her “Spider-Man: Homecoming” co-star Tom Holland, Zendaya stunned the audience when she channeled Erykah Badu while lip-syncing “Tyrone.”

“Well this first song, I mean, it’s a classic,” she told LL Cool J. “If I do this, I gotta do it right.”

She then put on the most elite headwrap and went right into character.

Zendaya summoned Fat Belly Bella’s spirit as she told playboy (unnamed man in Badu’s song) that he needs to call Tyrone (but, of course, he can’t use her phone.)

It’s two minutes of pure magic. Ms. Badu even thought so herself:

She followed with a performance of Bruno Mars’ “24K Magic,” which she also nailed, but we still can’t get over the perfection of her paying homage to a soulful great.
