With San Francisco's rents climbing and the housing supply diminishing, here's one more incentive to learn to love your Craigslist roomie.

Online rental platform Zumper.com released an infographic showing the monthly rental rates of one bedroom apartments throughout the city.

South Beach is home to the priciest rentals, selling at an average of $3,575 per month. The Financial District, Russian Hill and Mission Bay also fall at the more expensive end of the list.

Outer Mission is the most affordable area, with an average monthly rent of $1,520. Outer Sunset, Lakeshore and Outer Richmond also round out the cheaper neighborhoods.

The average price of a one bedroom in San Francisco is $2,700, according to Curbed SF. The total was calculated by averaging data points from each neighborhood.

But before you start packing your bags and catching the next BART to the East Bay, consider this: rent in Oakland is up 17 percent from last year.
