U.S. health regulators are telling five drugmakers to recall their versions of metformin, a widely used diabetes medication.
"It doesn’t matter if you’re on TV... this can still happen to you."
The one thing drug companies are not very good at is developing better drugs. Tried and true meds are often much better, and always much cheaper, than the hyped stuff you see on TV on get from your doctor. Be informed. 
Establishing emergency care plans helps children with diabetes, school nurses, and school personnel work together to successfully manage high or low blood glucose in the school setting. Communicating in advance with your child's teachers and other school staff can help make the school year a healthy one.
These studies tell us that, while we are still in the early stages of identifying exactly how exercise impacts the brain, further investigations may help us more fully identify how to use exercise to combat brain diseases and improve brain functioning.
