WHAT'S HAPPENING
The network's CEO and chairmain, Leslie Moonves, has been accused of sexual misconduct by six women.
This is the first time the network chairman and CEO has publicly spoken since the allegations surfaced.
A New Yorker piece detailed several sexual harassment allegations against the CBS executive.
USC’s Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism also temporarily suspended the name of its Julie Chen/Leslie Moonves CBS Media Center.
"Accountability is meaningless unless it’s for everybody, whether it’s the leader of a network or the leader of the free world,” the CBS host said.
"I never was harassed per se, but it was difficult during that time," Vieira says of her time at the CBS news magazine.
