Like its impact on marginalized communities, shadow banning is very much real.
The public "like" counter may disappear as early as next week for some U.S. Instagram users. The app rolled out the test in other countries earlier this year.
"I swear, I think you guys are listening," the "CBS This Morning" co-host said in an interview.
"We want people to worry a little bit less about how many likes they’re getting on Instagram and spend a bit more time connecting with the people that they care about,” the app's head said.
