"Today" co-host Hoda Kotb confirmed that the weatherman had been readmitted following recent treatment for blood clots.
“After some medical whack-a-mole, I am so fortunate to be getting terrific medical care and on the way to recovery," the TV personality said on Instagram.
The "Today" co-host suggested critics "try and keep up" after footage of him being pummeled by Hurricane Ida prompted concerns for his safety.
