It is a true understatement to say that the pinnacle of the teenage Austinite social calendar is Austin City Limits. ACL has taken on a life of its own, an event so fantasized and talked about that it couldn't ever be as good as we all think it will be.
Although you may not have heard the name Boots before, there's a good chance you've heard his music.
On top of the thousands of must-see bands and acts for those attending South by Southwest / SXSW in 2015, I've compiled another list that attendees might find useful as we plot out our days and nights of many music genres playing across Austin next week.
Fun Fun Fun Fest may be Austin's third most recognizable festival, (after SXSW and ACL) but what it lacks in prestige, it makes up for in effort, style, and charm.
Although one-day and weekend passes have been sold out for some time, you can still see what all the fuss is about for the city whose motto is "Keep Austin Weird" by heading to one of these ten hotels.
This festival, though not as big as a Lollapalooza, a Bonaroo, or an Austin City Limits is certainly on its way with escalating attendance and sponsorship, as well as its surprising amount of relevance in its main acts.
