Holden Matthews allegedly set fire to three historically black churches in and around Opelousas this past spring.
Police arrested Holden Matthews, the 21-year-old son of a St. Landry Parish sheriff's deputy, in connection.
“You can burn the church down, but God still stands."
"Life is too short to harbor ill feelings toward anyone," said the Rev. David Triggs.
