Knowing that we truly belong. Knowing that it is the very uniqueness of our journey that gives meaning to every breath we are given.
Your 'grass' is yours and yours alone and it as unique as you are. Lean into that lushness.
If you find yourself wishing to feel that you have enough of whatever it is you think is lacking in your life, I have bad news for you. There is no such thing as enough.
The peace found deep within would be worth the attempt to move our comforts of fear to love, and loving each other the same, not only those who agree with our side of the story.
If you mention the countries Syria, Ukraine, Afghanistan or Venezuela to me, a soft, numb cloud of blissful and most intentional ignorance folds over my consciousness and within milliseconds, I hear no more. Same goes for the phrases, 'world issues,' 'political strategy,' and 'government turmoil.' But no words instantly anesthetize me like the words, 'war,' 'conflict,' 'death toll,' 'budget,' and 'health care.'
By letting go of harmful desire, I got more of the physical depth that I'd wanted before, yet the shapes of the poses barely mattered now. What did matter was how good it felt to just be with what is and let go of what isn't.
